This Privacy Policy explains how Postpilot ("we", "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you connect your TikTok account and use Postpilot to schedule and publish your own content.

1. Information we collect

• TikTok account information: a unique account identifier (open ID), your display name, and avatar, via TikTok's user.info.basic scope.
• Access tokens: a secure token that lets Postpilot upload and post video to your own TikTok account on your behalf.
• Content you create: the videos and captions you upload and choose to publish.

We do not collect your password, private messages, or browsing activity.

2. How we use it

• To authenticate you with TikTok and keep your session valid.
• To upload and publish your own videos to your own connected account, at the times you choose.
• To notify you when a post goes live.

We never post to any account other than the one you connected, and never publish third-party content.

3. Storage & security

Tokens are stored securely and used only for the purposes above. Content is processed solely to publish it for you.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. Data flows only between Postpilot and TikTok's official API over secure connections.

5. Retention & deletion

Tokens are kept only while your account is connected. You can revoke access anytime in your TikTok settings (Security & permissions → Manage app permissions). To request deletion of stored data, email us below.

Our use of information from TikTok APIs follows the TikTok Developer Terms of Service.
